Warm Hats For Tiny Babies Events

On June 20, 2018 and July 17, 2018 we will be having events in the library at the College of San Mateo to knit and crochet hats for the babies at the UCSF Benioff Chldren's Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland.  The events will run from 11 am until 2 pm.  We will have yarn and all required tools available for you to use on those days.  If you cannot make it to either of the events but still want to help, please feel free to make hats on your own.  There is a link to my blog which contains links to several patterns for knit and crochet hats.  Please use soft acrylic yarn and do not add any embellishments ( no pom poms, tassels, buttons, ribbons, etc.).  You can drop hats off at the College of San Mateo Library.  There is a box labeled for these hats.  If you cannot make it up to College of San Mateo, please contact me and we can arrange other options.
I hope you can help us in our quest to keep these little babies warm as they grow until they can go home with their families.
