We are hoping to set up 1 or 2 dates over the summer where people can come together and knit or crochet a hat or two to donate. These get togethers will likely be held on the College of San Mateo campus. If you would like me to keep you updated as to when the get togethers will be scheduled or if you would like to make some hats and send them to me, please leave a comment below and I will get back to you.
These are the patterns I have tried that were very easy to follow for anyone, a new knitter or crocheter to a seasoned veteran. Please do not add any embellishments (pom poms, tassels, buttons, ribbons, etc.) to your hats.

My partials stash is.....well, it's in need of some good use and I have so many things planned but, still, I've had NICU hats on my list since my 7 year old was born. Oops.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of things planned for my stash too. Hopefully, this will help you get started using some of your yarn.
ReplyDeleteHi Cassandra, I’d love to make some of these, but I probably won’t be able to attend the get-togethers. Please let me know how I can send them to you. —
ReplyDeleteSusan, send me a message at kingc@smccd.edu and we can work something out. We will be having more events in the future, some possibly on Saturday.
