Keeping San Mateo County Watm

For the rest of 2018, our group will continue making hats and scarves to fit people of all ages, babies to adults.

You will see the dates and times listed to the right for our hat and scarf making events for the next 3 months.

We hope you are able to join us for one or all of these events.  If you are not able to attend any of these dates, please feel free to make hats and scarves on your own.  All we ask is that you use acrylic yarns, as they are easily machine washed and dried.  You can look at other posts on this blog for lists of pattern links, or you may use any patterns you like.

If you know of any organizations that might like a donation of hats and scarves, please leave a comment on this post or contact me directly at kingc@smccd.edu

Since July, people participating in these events and those who have made hats on their own have made and donated close to 500 hats.  Thank you all for your support in this project; it has been an amazing response and we would like to keep it going.
